ABOUT NINER ICE HOCKEY

The Charlotte 49ers hockey team represents the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the American College Hockey Association (ACHA).

The Charlotte program began in 2003 by several students who just loved the sport. They competed in local leagues throughout the Charlotte, North Carolina area as they gained recognition.
